Terrain

The hunting area is situated in north-eastern Namibia, however is still part of the central escarpment (elevation about 6000 ft.). The exact location is about 80 miles Northeast of Windhoek Intl. Airport. We hunt on about 60 000 acres of own property and another 100 000 acres of concessionary farmland, consisting partly of the Hochfeld Conservancy and some farms in the south.

The most common species found here are Kudu, Gemsbuck, Hartebeest, Warthog, Steenbuck, Duiker and Cheetah. Other species native to the area are also available.

Examples are: Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Springbuck, Roan, Impala, Giraffe and many more.

	The landscape is fairly flat and even with numerous large, red termite mounds.
	The vegetation consists of Savannah grassland with high camel thorn trees and other acacias.
	The soil consists of red, packed sand with a high clay content.

Hunting Season

Our hunting season lasts from February to November, with April to October being the best time to hunt. June and July being our winter months and warm clothes are recommended for the early mornings and the evenings.

Clothing & Equipment

(what you should bring with you)

	Except for the winter months June/July/August when a jacket and gloves may be needed, the climate is warm to hot and short sleeved shirts and slacks or jeans are most suitable.
	2 pairs of camo pants and shirts (see notes on camo below))
	Cap or hat
	1 pair of boots
	1 pair of light running shoes / cross-trainers
	2 pairs of shorts
	3 T-Shirts (Camo, Khaki, Green) (see notes on camo below)
	Binoculars
	Wide angle camera for trophy pictures
	Video camera

Camouflage

Although camouflage clothing should not be worn in public, it can safely be used while hunting. Any Realtree, Mossy Oak, Advantage, Trebark, etc. would work well.
