Travel to Namibia

There are daily flights on South African Airways from the US and Canada to either Cape Town or Johannesburg. From there at least two daily flights to Windhoek are available on Air Namibia, SAA or British Airways.

On arrival at Windhoek International Airport, the police/customs will remove the gun case from the luggage carousel and put it in the police cubicle identified by a rifle sign. You will be required to produce the rifle import form filled out with all the details, open the case and the office will verify the serial numbers on the rifle with the form. He will the issue you with the gun import license which will be handed in again when you leave the country. It is very straight forward and the officers are usually very friendly and helpful.

Once you have cleared the automatic doors into the hall, the P.H. will be waiting for you.

Okatjuru Safaris is only 190 kilometres (about 90 minutes by car) away from Windhoek. Clients and their luggage are picked up at the airport and taken to Okatjuru. Thus you don't have to make any transport arrangements or worry about international drivers licenses.
